Gmail video chat now available on Ubuntu

Well as far as Linux software it can sometimes be a pain for neonate users to set up video chat. Now it seems Google has come through to make it super easy.

According to the brief announcement on the Google blog, “Voice and video chat for Linux supports Ubuntu and other Debian-based Linux distributions, and RPM support will be coming soon.”

I just installed Gmail Video chat on my Ubuntu 64bit system and it appears to work well.
